#10(Position Last Week: N/A)
Luke Harper(MrSinisterXIII)
Luke just inches onto the list. Not much is known about Luke but one thing is known. He is a fighter. In the face of Kevin Owens taking out his teammate Ziggler, both men were to due battle at Summerslam. It appears Harper did not like Kruger sticking his nose into the match though as he clocked him TWICE during the match. This would end up setting up a triple threat match between Owens, Kruger, and Harper. Easily the most physical match of the night Harper did not emerge victorious HOWEVER...he wasn't pinned either. Harper made it clear this passing Raw he was interested in two thing. The United States Title, and the bodies he'd break in the process of obtaining it. With a brawl to rule them all Harper had to retreat after a corner cannonball form Owens. But it's Harper who got to stand victorious that night after pinning Kruger in the middle of the ring one, two, three. Harper has proven he can beat the champ. The question is, will he was Unforgiven? He definitely has a lot to live up to after being the second pick for Smackdown in the draft that just happened. This week, he takes on Seth Rollins to see if he can keep up the momentum.
#9(Position Last Week: N/A)
Shawn Michaels (The Burp)
Shawn likes to pop up from time to time around here. Whenever he does he usually makes an impact. This time was nothing different. Shawn returned on Raw in Cincinnati to answer the challenge sent by Anderson the Smackdown before. Shawn not only accepted, but took the time to target some of the newer talent with a vicious verbal lashing. The pressure however was on Michaels to deliver when it came time for Summerslam. Shawn and Anderson had never faced off before in an official SOOL match. There was much excitement buzzing around whether they would live up to the hype. And live up to the hype they did. They had a match of the year candidate that when will Shawn pulling out the victory. Many would expect Shawn to disappear again but with Shawn being drafted to Raw and Anderson calling him out for another match, what will he do? We'll see what Slammy winner: Jerk of the Year, has planned for SOOL.
#8(Position Last Week: N/A)
Leo Kruger (Harmonkiller93)
Leo Kruger has become a face of this company in the last year he joined. He dominated for months as the feared United States Champion until he lost to Rusev. Leo Kruger spent the next month less in matches, and more so beating everybody he could get his hands on to a pulp. Until Summerslam. After engaging in a brutal war with Seth Rollins and Rusev Leo Kruger regained his championship back after pinning Seth. Kruger, being the hunter he is, decided to stalk some other prey later that night. Kevin Owens & Luke Harper. After being provoked he was thrown into the match and all hell broke loose. However the night ended with him being pinned by Kevin Owens. Kruger would state his interest for competition against Owens and Harper on the Highlight Reel (While swiftly ignoring Rusev). He received not one, not two, but THREE superkicks from the three. Kruger went into his match with Harper looking for revenge but sadly it was not meant to be. He was pinned by Harper so the question it raises, has Kruger finally landed himself in a fight that's too much for him? Kruger was, like Harper, drafted to Smackdown so Unforgiven will NOT be the last time he sees that maniac. Speaking of maniacs, Kruger has to deal with old time rival Edge who seems to be becoming more unhinged each and every week and of course, fellow lunatic the World Champion. I'm sure Kruger welcomes the challenge though. That psychopath.
#7(Position Last Week: N/A)
Batista (SkeetShooterr)
Batista is another new guy in the company. Batista defeated AJ Styles his first night and proclaimed he was here to win. His next victim was Cactus Jack at Summerslam. Beating new guy AJ Styles wasn't a big deal. Beating Cactus Jack who has made a name for himself here is. Batista went into this passing Smackdown to face off against the Miz who was right off his victory over Goldberg And Jericho. Batista pulled off another win, leaving his record 3-0. After the match Batista asked for a "Real Challenge". He now has it in the form of one half of the new Tag Team Champions, Adrian Neville. Time to see of the animal can keep up with The Man That Gravity Forgot. If he continues winning, he could prove to be the sleeper pick of the draft for Raw.
#6(Position Last Week: Honorable Mention)
Kevin Owens (CMPUNK B1TW)
Kevin Owens put out Cena. Then Dolph. He beat the crap out of Ryder too. It's obvious that everywhere Owen goes, bodies usually fall. Summerslam was no different. Owens went in for a fight against Harper and he got just that. I don't think he expected Kruger to be rolled into the mix. However Owens proved that no one would deny him that night and he picked up the win against the United States Champion! Owens went out on the Highlight Reel full of arrogance that may or may not be well earner. He claimed himself to be the NEW number one contender and even threw some not so kind remarks towards Jericho. Owens laid into Kruger saying that Kruger never really BEAT anyone important in all those title defenses. However it was Kruger who may have ended up getting into Owen's head after mentioning his family briefly. Rather he got into Owen's head or not, it didn't matter because Owens was the man left standing in the middle of the ring when all was said and done. Still yet to be pinned or tap out, Owens looks to carry that momentum with him through Unforgiven all the way to his new home Smackdown sitting on the horizon.
#5(Position Last Week: #4)
Roman Reigns (LazyEye513)
Roman Reigns may have reached his peek before he even got to enjoy it. Well...maybe that's too harsh. Roman rebounded from his loss against Nakamura by winning a triple threat match against Leo Kruger and Randy Orton. Roman pinned Orton for a second time in a month and gained back a little momentum. The next week Roman was set to tag with Cesaro against Goldust and JBL. However neither JBL nor Cesaro showed up. While Goldust was able to find a partner, Roman was told to take on both men himself By Steph. And Roman just did that. Roman eliminated Goldust first and after a long match between the two, Roman pinned Stardust. Roman looked to be the favorite going into his Hardcore title match at Summerslam. But Roman's mouth may have gotten him into trouble as he was quickly ganged up upon by Goldust and JBL. However their alliance didn't last long. Roman would hit 3-4 spears that night but each pin was broken up. The night ended with Roman being pinned by Goldust. Roman has not been seen since his loss and with his mentor Steph being the head of Smackdown and he himself being drafted to Raw, things are not looking good for the Mercenary. However he has been given a chance at new life against the undefeated and new Intercontinental Champ Triple H. Though, the last time he went up against someone undefeated it didn't end to good...
#4(Position Last Week: #9)
Alberto Del Rio (CMPUNK B1TW)
Alberto only had two matches this last month but he managed to make shock waves with both of them. On Raw Alberto told long term rival Bray Wyatt he would take him on at Summerslam to become the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. That same night he took on not only Ambrose but Wyatt! The match features tables, ladders, chairs, and anything the three men could get their hands on. One superkick right on the chin put the World Champion down for Del Rio to pin. At Summerslam Ambrose was declared the special enforcer for Alberto's and Wyatt's match. After being provoked Ambrose got involved in what became in all out melee. Still, Del Rio persevered and came out the winner. Now, Del Rio has a chance to not only knock Ambrose from the top, but also beat his own record by winning the World title for the 6th time.
#3(Position Last Week: #5)
Adrian Neville (Harmonkiller93)
Adrian Neville has finally captured gold! Though the road was not an easy one. Adrian Neville fell to Bam Bam Bigelow on Raw before Summerslam be he did not let that loss stop him. Neville and Balor challenged for the Tag Team titles and came out victorious against Sami and Daniel Bryan. After pursuing for so long the Royal Blood captured the gold. Neville would take that momentum with him to his match was Cesaro. The two tore the house down but it was Neville who came out with the win. Neville now has an animal at his front door step. Can Neville keep his hot streak going? Or is it time to come back down to earth?
#2(Position Last Week: #3)
Dean Ambrose (LazyEye513)
Dean Ambrose climbs just ONE spot higher than last month. Ambrose defeated Sami and Neville in a triple threat match on Smackdown 106. The match was close with many near falls, but Ambrose barely pinned Neville for the win. The next week Ambrose took on Wyatt and Del Rio. But not before throwing warning shots at Michaels and any old legends listening. Ambrose wanted a fight and he got one. A grueling match between Ambrose, Wyatt, and Del Rio ended Raw but it did not end in Dean's favor. Dean was pinned by Del Rio. Summerslam Ambrose seemed ready but Sting and Bam Bam took the fight to him. Both men formed an alliance to not let Ambrose leave that place the champion and for a while it worked. Ambrose was not able to get any offense off and fell to the onslaught from the two men. However, slowly but sure Ambrose fought his way back into the match. After smashing a ladder into Bam Bam's face and giving Sting the cutter Ambrose emerged victorious. Ambrose went out into a match with Rusev which Dean won with relative ease. He looks towards his next challenge, Del Rio. The Superstar of the year and Number 1 pick for Smackdown has a lot of pressure on his shoulders. Not only to retain and prove he's worth the number pick, but...If Dean loses...The title goes to Raw and will STAY there after the brand split. This is not a match Dean can afford to lose.
#1(Position Last Week: #6)
Triple H (AfterShockGamer)
Triple H came here with a loud mouth and a lot of claims of what he was gonna do. I can now sit here and say...he did everything he said he was gonna do. In the last month HHH has beaten the likes of Bram, Randy & Edge, and now...Nakamura. Triple H did what now man has ever done and pinned Shinsuke Nakamura. Triple H looks like the man to beat and you can be sure everybody is gunning after him. Triple H will take on his first match as champion this Raw against Roman Reigns. Will Triple H take his first loss? Or continue his domination?
