Christian vs. R-Truth went to a No Contest
What was supposed to be the opening match of the evening never got beyond the opening bell after a debuting Edge rushed the ring and blind sided both Christian & R-Truth with a steel folding chair. Edge threw R-Truth over the top rope to the outside & turned his attention to Christian. Following a short burst of unrelenting chair shots -- Edge proceeded to the outside ring area to grab another folding chair. Just as R-Truth staggered to his feet on the outside trying to catch his breath Edge tagged him with another rough steel chair shot to the face knocking him down & out. Edge climbed back into the ring and threw one chair to the mat -- lying Christian's head squarely over it. With the 2nd steel chair still at his disposal, with one fierce blow, Edge nearly cracked Christian's skull with a one man con-chair-to. Edge stood in the ring with a demented grin on his face obviously proud of his solid entrance into the Smackdown vs. RAW 2010 League.

Evan Bourne def. CM Punk
In what is considered the first special match of the SD vs. RAW League two high flyer's went at it with everything they could dish out. Evan Bourne looked to gain control of the match up early on but it was CM Punk who dominated Bourne throughout the entire match. Bourne used a couple of diving moves, however, Punk used everything in his arsenal to keep Bourne grounded and he was successful until a fatal error occurred on Punk's end. Bourne took advantage of this & capitalized with a standing moonsault & was able to escape the cage to pick up the victory.

Chris Jericho & Dolph Ziggler def. Shawn Michaels & Triple H
This match from start to finish quickly turned from an ordinary tag team match into an all out Brawl. Chris Jericho & Shawn Michaels opened the match and exchanged blows back & forth. This eventually brought in Triple H who attacked both Jericho & Ziggler. Shawn Michaels would gain the advantage on Jericho early on taking him down to the mat & locking in the ARM BAR. Eventually, Jericho was able to get the tag & HBK and Ziggler battled it out in the ring. A fan in attendance noted that Triple H was not able to stand in his corner long enough to wait for the tag. This began the all out brawl as he fought Jericho on the outside. Wrestling maneuvers and holds of all kind were thrown back & forth between all the competitors in the match. The referee had a hard time keeping all 4 superstars in their spots. As HBK was battling Ziggler in the ring, Triple H threw out the rule book, by attempting to beat down Ziggler as HBK was the legal man. Triple H refused to leave the ring after the referee delivered the count which saw D-Generation X getting disqualified & the match being awarded to the team of Chris Jericho & Dolph Ziggler. Jericho & Ziggler celebrated their win as HBK & HHH looked on with frustration over their loss.
